New hosting, new domain registrar, and a totally new blog.

Before taking down my old blog, I saw that the copyright date in the footer was 2018. It’s kind of hard to believe that it’s been that long since I had an active blog, but then again, it isn’t actually that hard to believe.

Over many years, I tried time and time again to run a blog. I could make them just fine. It was the sticking with it and continuing to add content part that I always wiped out on.

It wasn’t for lack of subjects, and that was probably one of my biggest problems. I lacked focus, and I wanted to talk about a little of everything, but there wasn’t any one thing that I was interested in enough to talk with any sort of consistency about.

Flash forward many years later and I’m older, and I’d like to think I’m more disciplined. Focus doesn’t tend to be an issue for me anymore (if you don’t count my tendency to hyper-fixate when something REALLY interests me.) Exact opposite problem from before, but I’ve gotten pretty good at balancing things out.

All of that to say that I’m going to take another stab at blogging, and this time, I have a sneaking suspicion that you’re not going to be able to shut me up. I’ve always loved writing, and I’m pretty passionate about game development. The marriage of the two is just… *chef’s kiss*
